Vegan smoothies at Smoothie King

Mango Kale
Sunwarrior® Raw Plant-Based Protein, Kale, Mango Juice Blend, Bananas, Apple Juice, Almonds
The kale flavor comes through with plenty of sweetness from the fruit. This reminded me of the smoothies I've had in San Diego and at Jiggle Berry in Amarillo. It's non-dairy and nutritious.
Nutty Super Grain
Sunwarrior® Raw Plant-Based Protein, Almond Milk, Peanut Butter, Super Grains, 100% Cocoa, Apple Juice, Bananas
The nutty flavor really comes through in this one, and it's definitely a meal replacement.
Dark Chocolate Banana
Sunwarrior® Raw Plant-Based Protein, 100% Cocoa, Bananas, Açaí Sorbet
This vegan smoothie is chock full of chocolaty flavor. The banana and sorbet sweeten it up.
Drive-thru Smoothie King in Picayune, Mississippi

I tried these vegan smoothies in San Antonio, Picayune (Mississippi) and New Orleans, but you can get these vegan smoothies at any Smoothie King. Check out the Smoothie King web site and the Smoothie King page on Facebook for locations. And of course Smoothie King has plenty of other types of smoothies, so check them out.

How can I leave Texas without having some barbecue? I can't. So I headed up to Leon Springs (just north of San Antonio) to The Original Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q. Read my full review after the break.

It's not hard to find Mexican food in San Antonio, but I am only here for a few days so I wanted to get the best. Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives says the puffy tacos at Taco Taco Cafe in San Antonio can't be beat, so I went there for lunch. Read my full review after the break.

Sometimes it's fun to just be a tourist, and what's more touristy than taking the double-decker sightseeing bus? As I rode around downtown San Antonio, suddenly a bright pink pig came into view. It disappeared as the bus drove by, so I quickly looked it up and realized I had just found my spot for lunch. So after my stroll along the River Walk, I had lunch at San Antonio's Pig Stand. Read my full review after the break.

For my first full day in San Antonio (on my way towards the East Coast), I wanted to get an early (and big!) breakfast before I headed into downtown for all that San Antonio's River Walk has to offer. Read my full review of Magnolia Pancake Haus as seen on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri after the break.

I've never been to a restaurant I've seen on Adam Richman's Man vs. Food that I didn't like, and I made my first stop in San Antonio at the home of a chicken fried steak that is too big for a dinner plate. Ready my full review of the Police Chief at Lulu's Bakery Cafe as seen on The Travel Channel's Man vs. Food after the break.
